1.Facebook“隐私门”事件

Facebook is in trouble again with more security issues. This time, Facebook announced it mishandled sensitive passwords for hundreds of millions of its users. The company is also facing fines for other data privacy practices. Yikes.

Facebook用户数据泄露时间发生后，外界就频频传出要求马克·扎克伯格辞职的声音。近日一激进投资集团在声明中明确要求扎克伯格下台，该集团引用了扎克伯格在准备为美国众议院能源和商业委员会作证的证词时不负责任的态度。

2.一年一度的美国大学篮球“疯狂三月”又来了!

For all you basketball fans out there— March Madness has taken over America.This is a time when 68 college basketball teams compete in seven rounds for the national championship. And it’s a big deal over in the states. Currently, UFC seems to be doing the best.

“疯狂三月”通称的NCAA锦标赛，即美国大学体育总会(NCAA)一级联赛(Division I)男篮锦标赛，成立于1939年，目前是美国最大的全国性体育赛事之一。因为NCAA锦标赛的大部分比赛都在3月进行，俗称疯狂三月(March Madness)。NCAA锦标赛在每年的3月至4月举行，实行单场淘汰制，2011年起参赛球队扩充至68支。

3.埃塞俄比亚载有157人的客机坠毁无人生还

A couple weeks ago, a plane from Ethiopian Airlines crashed, killing all 157 passengers. The model of the plane was Boeing 737 Max 8s. This was the second plane of the same model to crash in one year. Now, a big investigation has begun to look into the causes of these two planes crashing. Many countries, including China, are no longer allowing Boeing 737 Max 8s jets to fly until more information can be found.

这是继2018年10月29日印尼狮航空难事故之后，波音737-8飞机发生的第二起空难。美国媒体指出，空难事件可能跟737-8的一个新功能有关。

据悉，波音737 MAX 8和MAX 9机型上安装了一套新的自动防失速系统，这个系统的目的是为了帮助驾驶舱机组人员避免错误地将飞机机头抬高到危险高度。然而在某些情况下，该系统可以将机头意外降低，而且幅度太大，致使机组人员无法重新将机头抬高，这种情形可能导致飞机俯冲或坠机。

通过统计显示，国内航空公司中大约有97架波音737-8MAX客机，其中数量最多的为中国南方航空公司，涉及数量为24架。

4.巨型“太阳鱼”现身南澳大利亚，重量堪比小轿车

A gigantic fish washed up on the shores of Australia last week. When I say gigantic, I mean, almost bigger than a car!This fish, which is called an ocean sunfish, was discovered by two fisherman. Be sure to check out the pictures, this fish is huge!

一位专家称，“太阳鱼”可以长到4米长，重2.5吨。相比之下，照片中的鱼可能算是同类中较小的一只，不过重量也堪比一辆小轿车。”

据悉，“太阳鱼”对人类无害，但有时候当他们在海岸边游泳时，鱼鳍会探出水面而被误认为鲨鱼，引起人们恐慌。在澳大利亚，“太阳鱼”巨大的身材也曾对船只造成过损坏。

5.高手在民间！美75岁老人用140多个塑料袋编织了一套服装。

Don’t know what to do with all of your plastic bags? Well, one lady has found a great way to recycle them— by making clothes out of them. A 75-year-old woman from America knit herself a suit out of 140 plastic bags. I’ve gotta say, it doesn’t look too bad! And it’s super creative!
